Hey you, I used to know you forever ago! Long time no see, ah? And I am pleased someone else has entered the contest besides myself. Whoot!

I think you did a rather good job on this, considering you haven't had much practise with icons yet. Being in the business for a while now, I could give you some tips if you'd like.

First thing, you mentioned that you'd try out pixeling, right? Well, I believe this image looks more like soft-shading done with a dodge tool than really pixelized. You could use MS Paint for pixelizing things.

In fact, I made you a quick tutorial on the subject of pixeling. I hope you don't mind.

I love the concept of it being focused on her forehead gem. I personally think that was a great idea to use for an icon, to symbolize Saki's bright and loving personality with the thing that shines out the most. It's lovely, it is. ^^

Sorry it's taken me so long to reply/comment on your stuff. It's been kinda crazy, but I'm gonna try to comment more. 'Cause everything I've seen has been luffly. Just thought I'd point that out.
